Insecto Smoke Bombs are one-shot fumigation canisters designed to clear enclosed grow rooms, greenhouses and indoor spaces of common pests. Once activated, the bomb releases insecticidal smoke that spreads throughout the room, reaching cracks, corners, ducting and hidden areas where insects often shelter.

They are ideal for use between crop cycles when the grow space is empty, helping ensure your environment is clean and pest-free before starting your next grow. With 3 Sizes Available you can choose the correct fumer depending on the size of your grow room.

  • Whole-room pest treatment; smoke spreads into hidden areas sprays often miss
  • Ideal between crop cycles; helps clear pests before introducing new plants
  • Targets common grow room insects; effective against flying and crawling pests
  • Two sizes available; choose the correct coverage for your grow room

Coverage Guide

Insecto Smoke Bombs are available in three sizes, all containing 13.25% permethrin. The headline coverage figures are for flying insects in a sealed space; for typical grow-room pests such as spider mites, thrips, whitefly and fungus gnats a much higher dose per cubic metre is required, so usable coverage is significantly smaller.

Size Flying insects (label rate) Mites & crawling pests (grow rate) Best suited to
Mini 3.5g up to 120m³ ~7–8m³ Single grow tent (1.2×1.2 or 1.5×1.5)
Midi 15g up to 500m³ ~30m³ Small/medium grow room or greenhouse, or 2–4 tents in one space
Maxi 31g up to 1,000m³ ~60m³ Larger grow room or greenhouse

How to Use

  • Use only in empty rooms between cycles — permethrin will damage living plants.
  • Seal the room fully: intake and exhaust off and taped, doors closed.
  • Place canisters on foil or a heat-resistant plate, light the furthest from your exit first.
  • Leave sealed for a minimum of 2 hours, then ventilate hard for 1–2 hours before re-entry.
  • Cover or disable smoke alarms before use.
  • For heavy infestations, follow up with a second bomb 7–10 days later to catch newly hatched mites.

Insecto smoke bombs are designed to control a wide range of common indoor pests by filling the space with insecticidal smoke that reaches areas insects often hide.

  • Whitefly
  • Aphids (greenfly and blackfly)
  • Spider mites
  • Thrips
  • Fungus gnats (adult stage)
  • Flies and moths
  • Ants and beetles
  • Cockroaches

Pests often survive in hidden spaces such as corners, ducting, equipment and structural gaps. Even after removing plants, these insects can remain in the room and quickly reinfest the next crop.

Smoke bombs allow you to treat the entire room in one go. The insecticidal smoke fills the space and penetrates difficult areas that sprays cannot easily reach, helping eliminate pests and giving you a clean environment before beginning the next grow cycle.

Smoke bombs are most effective at killing active, moving insects. Like most fumigation products, they may not destroy every egg present in the grow space.

For the best long-term results, growers typically use smoke bombs between crop cycles to clear the environment before introducing new plants. Combining this with preventative products (such as Optic Foliar Evios), strong plant health and good grow room hygiene helps reduce the chance of pests returning.

Tip: For best results, use smoke bombs between grow cycles when the room is empty. This helps remove pests hiding in ducting, equipment and structural gaps before new plants are introduced.

  • Excellent preventative measure against all common types of insects
  • Available in Mini, Midi and Maxi versions
  • Treats areas of up to 100m³, depending on the size
  • Capable of taking out spidermites, which are notoriously difficult to shift
Size:
