Keep unwanted moisture under control with the AC Infinity Hydrone Smart Dehumidifier range. Developed for grow tents and controlled indoor environments, Hydrone provides adjustable dehumidification with intelligent control options for maintaining a more consistent climate.
Excess humidity can quickly become a problem in enclosed growing spaces, particularly as plants become larger and transpiration increases. Rather than relying on ventilation alone to remove moisture, Hydrone actively extracts water from the air and gives you precise control over how aggressively the unit operates.
With 10 selectable drying levels, a responsive PWM-controlled motor and integration with the AC Infinity UIS ecosystem, Hydrone provides a much more controlled approach to managing humidity throughout your grow.
The Hydrone range is available in two sizes, allowing you to match the dehumidifier to your growing environment.
The Hydrone 5 is the more compact option and is designed primarily for individual grow tents and smaller indoor growing areas.
It’s suitable for spaces up to approximately 1.2m x 1.2m and features an internal water reservoir, with the option to use a gravity-fed drain for more convenient continuous operation.
For larger tents and dedicated grow rooms, the Hydrone 7 provides increased capacity and is designed to deal with greater moisture loads.
Its larger 7-litre reservoir makes it better suited to environments where humidity needs to be removed more frequently, while compatibility with AC Infinity’s intelligent UIS control system provides additional automation possibilities.
Not every grow room requires maximum dehumidification all of the time.
Hydrone gives you 10 individual output settings, allowing drying performance to be adjusted to suit current conditions rather than simply operating at full power whenever the unit is switched on.
Its PWM-controlled motor provides responsive adjustment and fast start/stop operation, giving the system greater control over moisture removal.
This makes it easier to increase drying power during particularly humid periods and reduce output when only minor correction is required.
The Hydrone range is capable of helping reduce environmental humidity to as low as 25% RH, providing plenty of headroom for grow rooms where moisture levels are particularly difficult to manage.
It’s also engineered to maintain useful dehumidification performance across both warmer and cooler environments, making it a more versatile option for year-round indoor growing.
This can be particularly valuable during colder months, when outside air is damp and simply increasing extraction isn’t always the most effective solution.
Connect a compatible Hydrone dehumidifier to the AC Infinity UIS (Universal Interface System) and it can become part of your wider automated grow-room environment.
When paired with a suitable AC Infinity controller, drying output can be automatically adjusted in response to changing environmental conditions.
Rather than constantly checking a hygrometer and manually altering the dehumidifier, your controller can coordinate humidity management alongside other compatible UIS equipment.
Depending on your controller and setup, the AC Infinity app can also provide access to environmental data, charts, notifications and additional control options.
Hydrone can also play an important role in maintaining your preferred VPD (Vapour Pressure Deficit) when incorporated into a compatible UIS-controlled environment.
VPD considers the relationship between temperature and humidity rather than treating relative humidity as an isolated measurement.
By giving the controller adjustable dehumidification output, Hydrone provides another tool for maintaining a more controlled environment as conditions change throughout the day.
Collected moisture can be handled in two different ways depending on how you want to run your setup.
The internal reservoir provides a straightforward standalone solution – simply empty the tank when required.
For installations where regularly emptying the reservoir isn’t practical, a gravity drain connection can be used to direct collected water away from the unit.
This makes Hydrone suitable for both straightforward tent installations and more permanent grow-room setups.
Choose the Hydrone 5 if you’re looking for a compact dehumidification solution for a single tent or smaller growing space. Its size and drainage options make it particularly convenient where floor space is limited.
The Hydrone 7 is the better choice when you’re dealing with a larger tent or grow room where a greater amount of moisture needs to be managed.
In either case, adding a compatible UIS controller unlocks more advanced automation and allows the dehumidifier to work as part of a complete environmental-control system.

Plants naturally release moisture into the surrounding air through transpiration. In an enclosed environment this moisture can accumulate faster than the ventilation system can remove it.
A dehumidifier actively extracts this excess water, making it easier to maintain your preferred humidity range without relying entirely on increased extraction.
The Hydrone 5 is intended for smaller environments and individual grow tents, with suggested coverage of approximately 1.2m x 1.2m.
The Hydrone 7 is the larger-capacity option, featuring a 7-litre reservoir and being better suited to bigger tents and dedicated grow rooms.
The gravity drain option allows collected moisture to be directed away from the dehumidifier rather than relying solely on the internal reservoir.
The drain hose needs to be correctly positioned so water can flow away naturally.
The unit provides adjustable dehumidification functionality on its own. Connecting it to a compatible UIS controller adds more advanced environmental automation and allows it to become part of a wider connected setup.
It means the Hydrone is designed with enough dehumidification control to operate in environments requiring very low relative humidity levels, with performance specified down to approximately 25% RH.
The actual humidity reached in a grow room will also depend on factors such as room size, temperature, plant transpiration, incoming air and the overall moisture load.
When integrated with a compatible AC Infinity UIS controller, Hydrone can be used as part of an automated VPD-management system, with drying output adjusted according to environmental conditions.
For a smaller tent or an area around 1.2m x 1.2m, the Hydrone 5 is the natural starting point. For larger tents, dedicated rooms or environments producing substantially more moisture, consider the higher-capacity Hydrone 7.
